Festival of...beer and midriffs

You know it's a crazy, mixed-up world when I am given the corporate credit card and the responsibility of planning the company Christmas party.

Some supervisors might take the $40/person budget and go to a nice restaurant for an hour or two. This particular party planner decided to have a bonfire, get a bushel of raw oysters (?), and spend the rest on alcohol. Oh, plus one Olive Garden gift certificate for the winner of the poker tournament. Who knew my co-workers and their dates could be so much fun?*

*I'm having second thoughts regarding the installation of a stripper pole in my living room, though. Hopefully, that was just holiday beer banter.

We took one group photo at the beginning of the evening, which was smart, because the rest of the shots look something like this:

I certainly hope there's something in the corporate budget for President's Day...

Hhhmmm...I actually see nothing wrong with that photo shot ;) Course, that's just me...

I kinda like your party planning, truth be told. Alcohol and poker?? Too cool!

Someone gave me their camera at our work party. I wasn't in charge of any of the components of my face so this was clearly a bad idea.
Nice profile shot btw.

I knew there was something even more special about you: In that "negative" picture in your profile? You look EXACTLY like my real-life friend, who I call Dingie (a bastardization of her last name, not a reflection on her intelligence).

I think I'd recognize you on any city street, anywhere!

Glad to hear you're in charge of the important things. Usually, the 61-year-old tee-totaller who's two months away from retirement is in charge of the "fun."

How's the boy doing? Recovered?

I think of you often, and hope you're doing well and keeping all the men on their toes.

Happy new year.

kay (not "anonymous," but I couldn't figure out how else to publish. damn technology.)

Happy New Year, Chickie. Hope things continue to treat you fantabulously, and if they don't? Shoot 'em between the eyes ;)

Sounds like the perfect party to me.

The picture is funny. We will probably have some pictures like that too from our trip! As people from Chile like to party. We leave in six days for a 2 month trip to Chile.

You are BEAUTIFUL! I like your profile photo. But... I knew you were beautiful anyway before I saw your profile picture. You're beautiful on the inside and outside.:)

I also am happy that you are playing one of my favorite songs, Sweet Jane by The Cowboy Junkies!

Happy New Year!

I think I've been pretty patient, checking daily for an update.

Are you swamped at work? Fending off suitable date-material? Dating?

Just curious. I've missed being around here, and hope to hear from you soon.

And I second junque's comment. Be safe amid the twisters.
