Time to make the donuts

I've worked the past thirteen days straight, 12-15 hours per day, implementing a new hazardous waste tracking system on post that "goes live" on Monday.

I feel disoriented, with a brain full of mush, and unable to articulate simple thoughts. When I asked the date the other day, and the person replied, "the 3rd", I said, "No. What month?"

One lesson I have learned: if you send a 17 year boy to the grocery store to do the weekly shopping because he won't shut up about how there's never any food in the house, expect him to come back with cases of bottled water, potato chips, and pink wafer cookies.

Ramen.. he he.. one of my son's favorites. So, C, are you about
back to earth? And when do we
leave for Tuscany??

d mouse: the worst part is he didn't give me any change!

Brenda: I can't complain - I was downing 2 pots/coffee day for the same reason...

Darren: funny you should mention that - there's a 12 pack of Oriental flavor Ramen in the cupboard.

T: Milwaukee in 5 days! Is that close enough to Tuscany? For a geographically challenged girl like myself, perhaps it is ;)

Where are you? I can go AWOL but for you that is definitely out of character...you may wander from random site to site but usually if I play Sherlock Holmes I can find you. Drop by my site to see my new family members. It's been a very long and cold winter and I don't necessarily mean the weather outside but hopefully they'll warm things up a bit.
Cheers,
Lorna
