So you think deleting phone numbers out of your cell phone address book makes you less impulsive?

I have this great new game: I send emails (or forward some he wrote to me) to the most recent address I have for my ex-husband. I get to vent under the veil of mystery (is he getting them? Are they sitting in cyberspace?); he gets to remember my bitter, sentimental, accusatory, pitiful and angry sides. Are we having fun yet?

to answer your question, not yet.

I think you are also wearing a see-thru veil of mystery. :P

Darren, you're a riot..
CQ, I've been there.. the only thing that has helped me to get out of that world, was to pray for them to have everything I wanted for myself. EVERY time I thought of them, which was A.LOT. I didn't have to be good at praying, or believe what I was saying.. but the pain made me willing to do whatever it took, no matter how little sense it made to me at the time. It worked.. and it works every time I need to do it. The question is, are you willing to let go of the pain? My best to you, C. Teresa

Send the e-mails to me, Colleen! I could fine-tune them a little, then return them to you to send on to him.

I've had some experience in that same game. I know how hard it is, but it'll get better. I promise.

As for the phone number question: absolutely! I can barely come up with my own home phone number (which I've had for 12 years) without the clever "phone home!" prompt on my cell phone.

Whatever it takes, though. Baby steps, my friend.

Let me know what I can do to help.

Aaaaaand: Palmetto bugs = symptoms of stroke. Am I right?

Come on back now. Obviously he's not worth all your energies - else you would not have left him behind in the first place, right?
Remember how boring he was? how repulsed you were by him? how unsatisfied you were with him? Why else did you go looking?

I never (almost) delete numbers...I'm just stoopid that way. I always think i MIGHT want to cross that bridge again. You might call it pathetic, *I* call it optimistic. :)

Well I'm back from the coast and I'm glad to see that you're still fighting the good fight.I wouldn't worry about the emails...at least you're not serenading him with the lyrics from Alanis Morissette's song "You Oughta Know"!
